"I Do" Meets Down Syndrome

Sospecial0715 For those of us with children with disabilities, Time magazine in its July 24, 2006 edition has just printed the feel good story of the summer, "A Very Special Wedding."

Two very charming and attractive young persons with Down Syndrome, Carolyn Bergeron, 29, and Sujeet Desai, 25, have married declaring "Love can't be stopped by Down syndrome."

A beautiful photo essay can be accessed at the Time.com site showing the details of their two ceremonies honoring their dual faiths, Hindu and United Lutheran Presbyterian.
